We made it back from our trip in one piece! Hooray!
You'll get all the gruesome details soon enough (there are some good ones. Including me getting 10 blisters on my feet alone!!)
Now, onto other things.
I need YOUR advice.
Yes, YOU!
I have been having this dilemma lately.
I don't know what to do with my pantry and spice/tea cupboard.
I've thought about it and looked at ideas online, but I just can't find a good cheap organizing idea for either of them.
My husband just made a batch of beer, so ignore the beer bottles on top :) |
Bottom shelf. That's the mess that is our tea/spices. |
Well, I'd love to get your input. Any dollar store fixes?
Budget is tight, but I need to get this organized for my sake (Nick could seriously care less. Men...)
Here are some Pinterest ideas to get mine (and your) juices flowing.
PS. Does anyone know how to make a border around the entire blog? In desperate need of HTML design help!
I like the...I think it's the 4th picture down? The one with the sugar/etc. in jars. That's one of my favorite things to use to store dry goods - big mason jars! You can slap labels on them, they line up really nicely on a shelf, and they keep stuff fresh. I use them for things like oatmeal, quinoa, chia seeds, stuff I use regularly but I dont' want a ton of bags hanging out in my pantry.
ReplyDeleteThat's the best advice I got at the moment...mine's in need of an overhaul as well. :-/
I use so many things to stay organized, but it took me a while to acquire the things I have because of money...#newlywedprobz ;)
ReplyDeleteYou NEED a spice rack. Period. The little ones that fit inside a cabinet and have little drawers for the spices...are perfect. That's what I use, and I love it! :) It's neat and easy to use.
I also use lots of baskets, and bookshelves. I bought a little cheap three-shelf book case from Wal-Mart and put it in our pantry closet for added storage and organization of things. :) You'll figure it out!
LOVVVVE your new blg design! It suits y'all SO!
