Kids say the darndest things...

Being a nanny has given me waaaaayyy too many funny moments. The littlest, J, is 4 and sometimes the words out of her mouth can make my day SO much more interesting.

I've been keeping track of her little sayings for awhile and these are just a few of my favorites.

Enjoy some laughs on a Thursday!


While driving in the car:
Me: If my baby is a girl what should I name her?
J:  "Umm... Daisy.  Daisy Bow!  Or Fluffy."


Listening to Michael Jackson on the radio:
Me:  Who sings this song?
J:  Michael Scott! 
(It happens EVERY time.  Without fail... and I can't help but ask each time.)


While listening to the chorus of "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye:
J:  I would never treat him rough.  Never!


In the car, once again:
J:  I miss Luna (an old cat of theirs).  I think she's in cat kevin.  She's in cat kevin right?
Me:  Yup.  She's probably in cat heaven.
J:  Yeah.  She's in cat kevin.


While watching my best friend (her old nanny) breastfeed for the first time:
J:  He's like a vampire!!  He's sucking your blood!
(We eventually corrected her, and her response was "that's creepy!")


After hearing the song "Poker Face" earlier in the day and repeating the "chorus" over and over:
J:  Here I am, here I am... Booger face!
(I even asked her if that's what she thought the real lyrics were.  Yup.)
