Big Fun Time Tuesday

Tuesday night we went to the Punch Brothers concert at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle.

Oh my goodness.

It was such an awesome concert.  My face melted and then preceded to be blown off.  Yeah.

No, but seriously it was a great concert.  It makes it even better that this is one of the non-existent few bands that Nick and I like just about the same.  That's pretty good considering his musical interests consist of jazz, modern jazz, contemporary music, bluegrass, and more jazz.  While mine consist of jazz, pop, bluegrass, rock, Disney, etc..

The musicians in the group are phenomenal.  They are all just about the best at what they do.  No joke.

The opening act was Aoife O'Donovan.  She is adorable.  She plays guitar and sings.  She's also part of a band called Crooked Still.  They are pretty awesome.   Go check them out.

Anyways, she was awesome and has an amazing voice.

Then the guys came on stage and played a great set consisting of all the tunes from their new album with a few other "wild cards" from their previous albums.  Even from their first one!

Okay, I'll stop telling you how much I like this band and let you enjoy a few pictures from the concert.
