My best date ever is definitely the day that Nick proposed to me. I already told this story here, but I would love to tell it again.
We spent the day in Seattle and the only thing Nick told me was that I needed bring a nice cocktail dress and waterproof clothes.
I really had no idea what was in store, but I was extremely excited (what girl wouldn't be?!). We spent the first part of the day kayaking on Lake Union around the arboretum next to UW. It was beautiful, peaceful, very fun, and extremely cute. I love this man.
We then spent the next few hours park hopping around the city. We found this sweet artsy park that had cool play areas and sculptures.
My husband's a dork. :) |
Then we went to a park where we could see the Space Needle and the cityscape at night. It was also very beautiful. My then boyfriend proceeded to get down on one knee and that's when he asked the question. AH! So wonderful! There are a few other dates that have been just as awesome and fun, but this one takes the cake. I got an engagement ring and a fiance out of the deal. DUH!
Tell me about your favorite date! I love date stories!
aw, that's fun! love the boom picture :) not sure if i have a favorite date....off the top of my head, probably when we went to fondue for the first time, it was delicious and romantic. no wait - that's second place - first place, when Mr.C flew out to visit me while I was doing a student exchange in S.Carolina. We went to the beach and later ended up at Outback Steakhouse, it was my first time there.
ReplyDeleteother than that taco bell (or local mexican) is our usual go2 date spot so that holds a special place in my heart as well. haha we've been going to tbell since we first started dating at 14yrs old...
What a romantic proposal! Good for hubby :-)
