Coffee Bean & Chocolate Chip Cookies

My husband and I were craving sweets and so we decided to make some cookies.  We didn't want your average chocolate chip cookies so we found this awesome recipe for Coffee Bean & Chocolate Chip Cookies at Sprinkle Bakes.

I'm going to attempt to share with you the recipe!

You'll need:
 - 1 cup butter
 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
 - 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
 - 2 eggs
 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
 - 2 1/4 cups of flour
 - 1 tsp baking soda
 - 1 tsp salt
 - 2/3 cup chocolate covered coffee beans
 - 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Beat the butter with the sugars until well blended.
Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Combine the flour, soda, and salt.
Add to the butter mixture.

Mix in the coffee beans and the chocolate chips.

You'll want to cover the dough and chill it for 15-20 minutes.  This makes it easier for you to make cookie dough balls.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.  Drop the dough by the teaspoons onto a cookie sheet.
Don't put them too close together.  They spread out quite a bit.
Bake for 10-11 minutes or until golden.

Let them cool on cookie sheets and then enjoy.

They went well with a nice cup of tea!
